Founded by Kristian Palyunin, KD STUDIO is a boutique post-production studio specializing in high-end fashion and campaign retouching. Our philosophy centers on authenticity, preserving natural skin texture while crafting cinematic, editorial-grade color and light. We do not simply retouch images. We shape visual language and elevate brand identity through refined, intentional post-production.
Guidelines
To ensure the integrity of the color grade and shadow depth, we require RAW files for all commercial and editorial projects. High-end retouching on JPEG formats is subject to quality limitations and is not recommended.
We specialize in Fashion, Campaign, and Editorial imagery with a focus on cinematic atmosphere and texture. We strictly avoid destructive "beauty" blurring or AI-based facial alteration features. By booking KD STUDIO, you agree to our signature aesthetic and "Editorial Base" approach.
The project fee includes 2 rounds of minor refinements (color nuances, cleaning details) based on the initial brief. Any creative shifts, change of direction after work has commenced, or additional rounds will be billed.
A 50% non-refundable deposit is required to secure a slot in the studio schedule. Work commences only after the deposit is received. The remaining balance is due prior to the delivery of the final high-resolution files.
Final artworks are delivered as 16-bit TIFF files to preserve maximum tonal range and print readiness. High-resolution JPEGs (sRGB) are included for web use. We do not deliver layered PSD files as they are proprietary intellectual property.
Client files are archived in our secure cloud storage for 3 months after project completion. Beyond this period, we do not guarantee file retention. Restoration of archived projects after this period incurs a retrieval fee.
If a confirmed project is cancelled by the client after work has begun, the 50% deposit serves as a "kill fee" to cover studio time and booking losses. It is non-refundable.
Standard turnaround time is confirmed upon booking. Requests for expedited delivery (under 24 hours) or weekend processing are subject to a +50% rush fee.
To ensure accuracy, all briefs, feedback, and approvals must be provided in written form (email). Voice messages or DM feedback are not considered official briefs to avoid misinterpretation.
KD STUDIO retains the perpetual right to display all retouched imagery in our portfolio, website, and social media for self-promotion purposes. Payment for services does not transfer the exclusive right to restrict the artist from showcasing their work. Any exceptions (NDAs or magazine embargoes) must be negotiated prior to booking and may incur an additional fee.
